PTSD Awareness Month – June 2018

Join us in observing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Month in June.
When? June 1, 2018

Each year, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and organizations across the United States raise awareness about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The goal of PTSD Awareness Month is to spread awareness about PTSD symptoms and effects, as well as advance the discussion about diagnosis, treatment, and care for those suffering from the effects of trauma – learn more at the National Center for PTSD website.

“Greater understanding and awareness of PTSD will help Veterans and others recognize symptoms, and seek and obtain needed care.”
– Dr. Paula P. Schnurr, Executive Director of the National Center for PTSD
